Christhian Pinto Velasquez
Christian registered for immigration while he was still in Mexico using the CP One app. He was given a date for his immigration hearing.
The bus he was riding in Mexico was hijacked by narco-trafficers.
The kidnappers contacted his family to pay a ransom. While he was being held hostage, his kidnappers beat and tortured Christian. They broke a rib and pulled out 2 of his toenails.
Once his family was able to come up with the ransom he was released, but he had missed his court date. Christian was able to reschedule the hearing.
He did not have the hearing. He was detained by ICE and accused of being a member of Tren de Agura. Christian has multiple tattoos
His family sent documentation from the government of Venezuela attesting that Christian has no criminal record in Venezuela.
On March 16, his family learned that Christian had been sent to El Salvador and they have had no contact or information since.
His name appears on the CBS list with a spelling of “Christhian”
However, in an interview with his sister, the reporter (La Prensa Grafica) spells his name “Christian” and gives his middle name as Amet.
His family has been trying to get information and posting on the web and hoping for a journalist from the US to help get Christian’s story out to the public.
